At the end of every Winter Semester, the UVU Theatre Department presents Short Attention Span Theatre (or SAST) a series of ten minute plays written, directed and acted by students in the department. This year, SAST will feature:

Body Humor

Written by Corinne Gates

Directed by Nicholas Grossaint

Costumes by Allen Stout

Actors:

Zoe Wilde, Mark Navez

Body Humor is about Smith and Jones, who find themselves in possession of a dead body and must figure out what to do with it. Though their squeamishness may get in the way of doing anything at all.


Goodnight Monday

A homeless man named Monday is visited by a benevolent stranger named Majestic. A connection is clear, but how do these men know each other? And how will they help each other?


Everybody Wants Me

Coral is on the dating market after a very long absence, and her eager friend Stacey is trying to help her find The One. On the day Stacey may have found the next dating disaster for Coral, Coral has some news of her own. What they reveal may show they have more in common than they know!

In a modern-day Hansel and Gretal story, two siblings deal with a tense relationship with their parents after their mother has left and their father has remarried a woman determined to erase the children from his life. They must find a way to help each other and untangle their reactions to their parents.
